Born into this beautiful world
I chased a dream
Put my foot in one and another “FettnÀpfchen”
A mainstream media career
Realised it is about
staff writers not journalists
Judging my work
“written in a stream-of-consciousness style”
Seen as a compliment by me being able to craft such an art
So, you were born so free inna model democracy?

At the end not the system divides us.
It is the people.
Good and bad in any country.

When I wanted to do this film about Russia, there was just a possibility to do this film drawing Mr. Putin sa the villain? Why would I do this? Please go and look somewhere else to plot your plot. I could show them if he granted me an interview. That will rock the world.

Publishing became something straightforward now at times of wordpress and internet compared to the times of Marcus Garvey. Once at a Caribbean film festival, a good friend and fantastic writer Coleen Grant brought the historic character as close to our times as it only can become by telling me “Look, it’s easy, look at him as the first crowdfunder ever”. Inspired by this man, I will go on my venture, I will need you all to become part of my journey.

It was as clear from the start that one day this was going to happen as the basket of feedback to pitched articles and job applications is full and spilling over. I know that I can write and the pen is my strongest weapon. I know that I do not trust, because trust is something that needs to be earned

When I get feedbacked by the words “written in a stream-of-consciousness style” (which I rather see as a compliment of being able to craft such an art), I thought, well lucky you, born and raised in a model democracy promoting free speech. Well, I was born in the free world too but do not believe in the free word. Too complex are the topics and writing with different countries involved requires a lot of respect towards their principles.

I travel and write about countries that something like press freedom is something like press freedom. Is there freedom of expression? Yes as long as you want to cash-in your consequences, i.e. not cashing in. Freedom of expression in the democratic world is just a puppet thing. Fellow colleagues should have seen my story but they do prefer to cash-in every end-of-month. Stop calling yourselves journalists, I think staff writer is more apt.

Look at my experience, editors accepting my Facebook friends requests for as long as it takes to spy on my whole profile and personal pictures. Quite naive, am I?

Is writing in a stream-of-consciousness style so bad? I believe it is a craft if someone is able to
